Your Selfish Lies and Promises

It’s hard to think,

And it’s hard to know

Why do you have to leave?

Why do you have to go?

When can we make this right?

When can we learn to fight?

I wish it could happen all tonight

I wish I could hug you so tight.

How will I love you,

If you won’t let me to?

How can we make it through

If you are not willing to?

I tried to make this work

I tried so hard but it didn’t work

I tried my best and gave my all

Just for you not to fall.

You promised me of lovable mornngs

You promised me of sweet evenings

But nothing came true

It’s all lies like you.

You lied to me selfishly

You lied to me that I’m your one and only

You left me hoping that you will be

The prince that you once promise me.
